Superabrasive manufactures a heavy-duty industrial grade hand edger – HEM-300. It features a powerful motor to keep up with high volume work, and it comes equipped with a quality diamond wheel. You can select the grit of your choice based on your application needs – grit options include 180 (for removing sharp edges off the lens), 180/400 (dual grit), 400, 600 (for pin beveling), or 800 grit (for polishing).

We produce hand edging diamond wheels in a variety of sizes for different hand edgers, including HEM-300, Weco, NuTec, Novamatic and others.

We recommend using the brass/metal bond wheels for glass and plastic lenses, and the resin bond hand edging wheels for polycarbonate, plastic, hi-index and trivex lenses. We have discontinued electroplated hand edging wheels, as their life is shorter compared to resin diamond wheels.
