Calibra Ceramic Discs
Calibra Discs, Dry
Calibra ceramic discs are an excellent solution for the removal of scratches from metal bond tools and transitioning to resins. They work best on HARD concrete, and their life is shorter when used on soft concrete. For soft concrete, use the Corsa tools instead.
- Use Calibra tools DRY. For wet application, use the HD Coppers instead.
- Offered in 3″ and 4″ size with velcro-backing.
- Grit range: 30, 50, 100, 200 grit.
- Recommended rpm: 650-800 for electric machines, 2100-2600 for propane machines.
Corsa Hybrids
Corsa Hybrids, Dry
Corsa Hybrids are designed for scratch removal and transitioning from metal to resin tools, and are Suitable for all types of concrete – soft, medium or hard. They are similar to Calibra but have an improved ceramic hybrid bond, that won’t glaze or wear out prematurely on soft and medium concrete.
- Designed for DRY use. If you are cutting wet, see our HD Copper tools instead as a transitional tool.
- Offered in Quick Change Ring style (9″ & 13″) and 3″ pucks with velcro backing.
- Grit range: 30, 50, 100, 200 grit.

CEMENTINA Metal Pucks
Cementina Metal tools are suitable for grinding HARD concrete. They provide a smooth and uniform finish, preparing the floor for resin steps.
- Best suited for light grinders, such as L16 and L20.

SA Superthick Metal Bond Discs
The SA Superthick Metal bond discs are a great choice for grinding concrete, as well as terrazzo, stone, self-leveling and overlay floors. They feature a unique, super thick metal bond that offers a smooth scratch pattern and long diamond life.
- Offered in 3″ and 4″ with standard velcro backing for WET use only.
- Also offered in 3″ QuickChange style for wet and dry use.
- Grit range: 46, 70, 120, 220.
- Recommended RPMs: 650-750 for electric machines, 2100-2500 for propane machines.
Metal Bond Tools
Quick Change Metal Bond Tools
Metal Bond Diamond Tools are used for concrete grinding and are made with a different bond hardness for different types of concrete – soft, medium, hard, extra hard and super hard. Using the wrong bond can cause diamond glazing, premature wear or deep scratches.
- Choose the right bond, based on the concrete hardness for each specific job. The Mohs Scratch Test kit can help determine the hardness of the concrete.
- Choose between one or two segments, depending on the grinder weight – use single button / bar tools with grinders 25″ and smaller, and double button / bar tools with grinders 30″ and larger. TIP: Fewer segments cut faster, but also wear out faster. More segments create more surface contact, allowing for surface refinement with less scratches.
- We recommend using metals with LOW RPM, and for optimal tool life, use 6 tools per head on 13″ heads.
- Grit range: 14, 30, 50, 70, 120. To expose medium to large aggregate, you can start with 30 grit metals. For small to medium aggregate start with 70 grit metals. For salt and pepper – 120 grit metals.
