Our Factory
Superabrasive started in 1987 as a diamond powder manufacturer in Krun, Bulgaria. Diamond powder expertise is key to producing high quality diamond tools, and it led us to develop many unique tools for different industries, including concrete, stone fabrication and optical.
Our concrete product range includes a wide selection of equipment and tools for concrete grinding and polishing, known as LAVINA. Most recently, we have expanded into concrete finishing with a our new line of Superabrasive power trowels, engineered for performance, reliability and productivity.
Over the last decade, we have made significant investments in equipment and technology to increase our manufacturing capacity. We have expanded our factory from 200,000 sqf to 332,000 sqf (30,850 sqm). The latest expansion was the 78,000 sqf cutting-edge facility for power trowel production.
Superabrasive employs around 300 people in Bulgaria. With highly skilled professionals, and advanced manufacturing technology, our company has become an industry leader, committed to developing simple and efficient solutions that make contractors’ work easier.

Our US Headquarters
Superabrasive started doing business in the United States in 1992 under the DTS name. The first company office was in Monroe, Michigan, selling diamond wheels for optical lens edging, and soon after tools for stone fabrication.
In 2002, the company moved its office to Georgia. In the following years the concrete industry became our main market and since its launch in 2004, the Lavina line has been our main revenue generator.
In 2007, we moved to our own 46,000 sqf state-of-the-art facility in Hoschton, GA, which remains our Headquarters to date. It includes a large and modern office space, warehouse and Lavina Repair Center.
In 2016 we added a manufacturing facility for the ShinePro / SupraShine floor maintenance pads. In 2021 we added more warehouse space, expanding our facility to 87,000 sqf.

Superabrasive Products
We started as a diamond powder manufacturer, but today we produce power trowels, grinders, dust extractors and a wide range of diamonds for concrete. As we continue to grow, customers can expect new innovative products, designed to optimize every stage of concrete floor work.
Since its start in 2004, the Lavina line has expanded with new models, design and features, but focus continues to be on simplicity, durability and ease of use.
